The mission of The Stewartstown Food Pantry is to love our neighbors by providing access to nutritious food to anyone experiencing food insecurity or financial hardship. Our intent is to treat each person with respect, dignity, and grace; provide opportunity to increase self-sufficiency, and instill hope. Our goal is for the pantry to have a meaningful, enduring impact.

September Distribution Dates: 14th and 28th

October Distribution Dates: 12th and 26th

Saubel's Market of Stewartstown hosted a food drive to benefit the food pantry this past month (Aug/Sept 2024).  The shoppers in the store had the opportunity to donate non-perishable food items to the food pantry. We are so thankful for the donations received. The neighbors who come to the pantry will be blessed by this community's kindness and generosity!
We are collecting food for our Thanksgiving Dinner food box distribution!  Click here for information!

How to Help

  • An easy way to help is to give unexpired, non-perishable food directly to the Pantry.  See our “Wish List” below for staples that we provide or items that we can use.
  • Partnerships with local food banks allow us to purchase food at tremendous savings.  Each $1 donated can provide four to six pounds of food for those in need.
  • As our pantry evolves, our volunteer needs are changing. Volunteers are needed to: collect, sort, pack, and distribute food, as well as keep our facility clean.  We need event planners and administrative volunteers to return calls. For more information see the Volunteers page and send us a message including your gifts and where you would like to serve - even if it is not listed!
